Every time I absorb one of your fabulous sketches, I say “this woman KNOWS animals.” I’ve worked with animals for 37 years and you never miss a nuance. You’re so good!!!!

I get the feeling he’s thinking about a road trip and seems to have his eye on the Lake Tahoe area.
Likely, he has family there being the raccoon paradise that it is.
Or is it a gambling problem?

I love it, I was waiting for someone to use a map legend. Brilliant.
I also love that we both did raccoons yesterday—perhaps one of these days we should start a joint venture, thedailybandit.com.

Thank you everyone. I really appreciate all your great feedback and kind words.
Paul, thanks, nothing like a good pun to get you through the day, eh?
Laurel, thanks, coming from you that’s high praise!
Nautilus, yeah, I though so too, but it was late and I rationalized that he is a raccoon and can’t read maps anyway, what does he know from holding one properly, hee hee.
VisualKaos, honey, perhaps it’s time for us to go to Tahoe, visit some raccoons and gamble a bit, eh?
Saucygrrl, no youuuuuuuuu, you’re the funny one, hee hee. Thanks for stopping by.
Bambi, I think maybe we should. That’s a great Idea, hee hee!
Roberta, I guess I’m on a roll lately. Hope it lasts! But Bambi is the one, sheepers, she does a drawing a day!!!
Thanks again all you talented people, for your comments and camaraderie!

January 31, 2008 at 11:39 am
awwwwwww!!!!!! perfect! he’s adorable and reading a map!!!! and get it? it’s a PLAY on the word tale? now, that took me a bit but i got it in a few minutes…after a walk…a couple loads of laundry. but to be honest, the legend part, um, i uh, needed someone to hold my hand for that. which hubby did and then he said sarcastically…”hey, she TOLD you that in the first sentence, brainy smurf.” :-O
i get soooo distracted by the art i don’t always read/see the words…di-duh. 😐
and i just though raccoons winked cuz’ they are sneaky.
