drawing on my perspective
Sometimes I wonder what role, if any, I’ve played in other people’s memories? Perhaps if I had considered this sooner, I would have behaved a bit better… or… not.

I can’t tell if this is you or the cat talking, and if it is sarcasm or not… you know… since you have the cats rear facing us! π
Oh well, great illustration anyway. Nice job with the color pencils!

Thanks guys! Thank you very much. Haven’t taken this particular kitty character out for a spin in a while.
Tom, sorry if I threw you this time. Went a bit less literal than usual. Like to keep you guessing, hee heee!

wow! wonderful texture, just amazing. great paw pads. (I often wonder how many strangers’ videos and photos I end up in, forever part of their vacation memories.)

your blurb reminds me of the premise of The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. when the main character dies, he backtracks on his life and sees how he has affected the lives of other people around him. good book, and great (made for tv) movie! π
hmm, i think i’ve found my inspiration for this week’s challenge on IF π
Anyway, that’s a really great illo from you, and i am so totally digging the poofy socks! hehe great attention to detail, especially on that cat’s… err, behind =)) fantastic drawing π

Love the sketch! If it’s the cat talking, I KNOW it could have behaved better. And a sweet leg rub and tail wrap probably doesn’t excuse what it did that it shouldn’t π (I won’t even consider your behavior, since I don’t know you π

this is a george bailey moment, sketchie….i’ll bet you pervade lotsa memories and noggins and prolly all good!
(except maybe that poor kid in 6th grade, you know…joey lazy eyes? you never wanted to play dodgeball with him because he beaned you too hard (as he couldn’t quite see you across the blacktop, on account of his eyes) with that ball…so you ignored him, and that made him pine all the longer…oh poor joey lazy eyes…tsk, tsk, sketchie!
(this pretend memory is brought to you by “lunesta…for illustrators who never sleep but love butterflies.”)

I would just like to say that I love all of your work. I’ve been glancing at this site for awhile now, and have never stopped being amazed.
You’re a great artist!!
I do have one question for you, if you don’t mind:
My school is producing a play called ‘Red Herring’, and it reminded me of this picture that I believe you drew. Can my school use it on our posters (of couse, we will credit you as the source)?
