GRAMPA NED BUNNY
“It’s really quite scary,
how terribly hairy,
I’ve gotten.” said dear grampa Ned
“Hair sprouts from my nose,
from my ear grows and grows.
Too bad there is none on my head!”
– Linda Silvestri
Ahhh! Youth is so fleeting, is it not?

This week’s Illustration Friday theme is “Fleeting” and I’m thinking my take on it is very much colored by the fact that my birthday is right around the corner… (sigh.)

I love your work! My class will be learning about idioms and would like to print out some of your illustrations as examples. My English language learners would greatly benefit from the examples. May I have your permission to do so?

I LOVE this! It is so cute! Is it alright with you if I draw some of your drawings? I wouldn’t sell them, but I really like them, and would love to practice!

I must have missed this because this is the day my brother went into the hospital. He was feeling like this bunny!
It’s another adorable piece of art and writing. You’re the master!! I hope you have a smashing birthday and take lots of time to celebrate YOU 🙂
